I live in an apartment with a crazy roommate that had his stove REMOVED. I’m trying to get a setup where I can cook, but every single electric burner that I’ve bought isn’t hot enough to even boil more than 2qts of water. Is there some portable gas grill out there that I could use indoors? Hellllp.

Microwave would be the safest — just buy a small one That’s what we use in the offices where I’ve worked. Also, we use the coffee maker to make hot water for tea, soups, etc. If you prefer cooking larger pots of soup often, then just buy an electric pot (they will make a lot of soup, I think mine is 6 qt.). If you have an electric fry pan, that will cook your meats.

Don’t use camping equipment indoors — it’s not safe for indoor use.

Good luck - just know this situation is only temporary in your life.

Coleman sells a propane one, you may have luck with. Check in the camping section at Walmart.

What about a George Foreman grill, a microwave, kettle etc.

You can get microwaves with a built-in GRILL setting now, and theyre reasonably priced. My friend uses ours to brown his pasta bakes.

i lived as a bachelor for about 10 years. The only appliance I had was an electric burner, a cast iron skillet, one pot, and a spatula, spoon for flipping and stirring…

You can make just about anything in the skillet, you never have to wash a skillet, just rinse it out and rub with oil…

IMHO, anyone who needs more than that, is not much of a cook….
