we want to grill in the winter when its cold…but dont wanna use a george forman….

is there anything thats good to make steak and bbq chicken on?
like one of those things that goes over the stove burners?

i just cant see how many of those indoor grill things out there will effectively make bbq chicken….

any suggestions and tips will be great!
we have a presto non stick electric skillet, would that work for burgers or anything??
oh and nothing expensive!!
like under $80

I like my Calphalon grill pan. You can fit three to four nice size steaks on it. Easy to clean too.

    Sanyo Smokeless Indoor Grill

SanyoFill the drip pan of this electric grill with water and dripping grease won't burn, and won't create smoke. Reasonably priced (around $50USD) this is a great electric grill with around 200 square inches of cooking area. This will give you plenty of space to prepare a whole meal without leaving the kitchen.

I had a Rival Electric indoor grill once.. I loved it..but i dropped the crock part and it broke.

The Simply Calphalon Nonstick 13-Inch Round Grill Pan (About $30) got top ratings on America's Test Kitchen. It makes nice wide grill marks, cooks evenly, and has plenty of room on the surface to work with. You can probably get it at most well-stocked kitchen stores.

Here's the testing results if you want to read them.

We use our outdoor grill all winter, and we live in Wisconsin. There is nothing that can compare to the taste.
