I plugged in my Electric Grill today to make a sandwich and even the POWER light is on..TEMPERATURE CONTROL is not and the grill doesnt hit up at all.Why is that and is anything I can do?
The best and only thing you should do is that you Not tamper with the appliance and you should take it to a qualified technician to repair it.
Better safe than sorry.
Regards.
hlllllllllllllllp pls……..
I use tda gas hob and we have electric oven but do not know hw to operate it fully. i tried switching it on and found that i can see the light on in oven but do not know how to operate further……….i can see separate turner for oven and grill.
in this one there is not dial or temp.its luks like a gas oven to me
there should be a dial for oven [bake] or grill,
turn the dial to oven [bake] then there is a temp dial for the oven settings
[a knob with numbers on it, ] from low to 400 etc
it should work for the grill also
I want to purchase a counter top griddle for my mobile kitchen, I know it’s possible, but not sure where to start. Anyone provide any links or instructions on how to do ?
its cheaper to buy electric than LP… therefore I am weighing out the price difference to convert. 1st and hopefully only stupid answer i’l receive today
You can convert a gas to propane or visa versa. You can’t convert an electric to either gas or propane. Even if you could I can’t imagine how that could be cost effective. You essentially have to replace every part but the shell.
I just moved into a new apartment complex, and I am not allowed to have anything but an Electric Grill. I love the way food cooked with charcoal taste and would prefer to still use this. Does anyone know of any electric grills that still allow you to use charcoal. Also, where can they be purchased and about how much do they run?
Sorry, don’t know of one that uses both, BUT:
try one of those metal trays you can buy that allows you to put wood chips (previously soaked in water) onto the grill with your meat or veggies - works on any kind of grill, creates smoke, and tastes even better than charcoal.
Have fun grilling!!!
I have moved into this house which has old TDA gas hob which i manged using but the Electric Oven seems to be not working. In fact i do not know how to operate it. I could not located the users manual either. Owner has no clue as well.

Imagine a life without your toaster, mixer or your vacuum cleaner- it would be a total mess with you juggling between your kitchen, other chores and office. Yes, this is what Home Appliances and Kitchen Appliances have done to us. Today, these are no longer considered a luxury but have become necessities for smooth running of the house.
Among the popular home appliances today are irons, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines. And the kitchen appliances that we cannot do without are Toaster / Grill, Tea / Coffee Maker, Cooker, Iron, Food Processor, Vacuum Cleaner, Air Conditioner and Microwave Oven.
Well, but how would you know which home appliance or kitchen appliance is the ideal one for your needs. Read on to know thatâ¦the first step is to keep in mind the individual needs of your house before buying a particular home appliance. Any home or kitchen appliance that is purchased today should be energy efficient in order to save money. This is particularly true with electric kitchen appliances.
An example is purchasing an appliance that uses water, like a washing machine or a dishwasher. Look for newer features like reduced water uses for different rinsing cycles.
A cost effective measure you can take when buying an air-conditioner is to make sure that it fits the size of your room. The Department of Energy suggests that an air-conditioner’s size can be determined by multiplying your room’s square feet by 20. Always go for small/portable sizes, with smaller prices and bigger utilities to get the most out of your home appliances.
For those of you who enjoy cooking or baking, purchasing kitchen appliances, that are user friendly and time saving are a must. Also keep in mind the portability of the kitchen appliance, so that you do not have to struggle with its weight.
Kitchen appliances like food processors, juice extractor, blender, grinder mixture, kettles, toasters/grills that come in great sizes and steam cookers come in different brands and are constructed with a high quality, and are high performance kitchen assistants. Using advanced technology, like non-stick coatings etc make sure that the heat is thoroughly circulated, even, and just about right for your meals.
Though there is no lack of physical stores offering great home appliances, let’s accept it that shopping in the city markets is just a test of patience. So, why don’t you try shopping online? Just log onto one of the online sites and buy great home and kitchen appliances from the comforts of your homes. Most of these sites also ensure free shipping facilities.
Get relief from the stress and time involved in home management with high quality home appliances with cutting edge technology.

A local energy company in Clearwater Florida is proposing to raise its energy costsâ¦again. Over the last year this company has raised its rates by around thirty percent and residents are starting to worry that, with the economy tanking and layoffs happening everywhere, that they won’t be able to afford to keep their electricity on anymore. And while Florida is known for being warm all year round, who wants to go camping in the winter, especially when there is no end in site to the camping? It only takes a couple of days before the idea of a hot shower becomes so beautiful that you consider bribing your friends and family to let you live with them instead of trying to keep your ownâjust so that you can feel warm water on your skin again.
In a time when energy costs are increasing (ironic considering the drop in fuel costs), it becomes even more important to cut down on power usage. The following list presents Clearwater residents with some tried and true ways to cut down on their energy bills and some moreâ¦creative ideas as well.
1. Put blankets over your windows and outside access doors. Sure it makes you look like a hillbilly, but when you cover your windows, you reduce the amount of heat loss that occurs. Windows and outside access doors are like sucking vortexes for heat. The thicker their coverings, the warmer your house will stayâand you won’t have to keep kicking the heater up a notch.
2. Unplug whatever you are not using. Sure it’s a pain in the butt to have to plug your television set back in, but it has been proven that unplugging appliances and machines when they are not in use can do a lot more to cut down on your electric bill than simply turning them off.
3. Learn to love hats and shoes. Most of your body heat is lost through your head and your feet. If you keep them covered, you won’t be as tempted to kick up the heat in your home!
4. Grillâeven in winter! Using your grill or barbecue cuts down on the amount of power you need to make dinner and can lower your bill. No it won’t be fun to stand outside if it is cold, but grilling or barbecuing even just a few times a week can spell the difference between being able to afford your electric bill andâ¦.not.
5. Join some clubs or other social organizations that require you to leave the house. The less time you spend at home, the less energy you will use. Join a knitting group or a book clubâsomething that doesn’t require money to join or a lot of driving around. Plus, you’ll make friends and have fun!
These are just five ways that you can cut down on your energy costs. You already know about energy saving light bulbs and the like. Now it is time to get creative and figure out what else you can do to reduce your energy consumption!

Quite a number of people love cooking. Not only do these people love cooking, they also enjoy showing off their culinary prowess to others. Rather they are also love to show off their culinary skills to their friends and relatives to make them envious. The best way to achieve this is to show off the same using the latest cooking grill available in the market. There are quite a number of cooking grills available in the market. It depends on your personal choice to select the type of cooking grill you shall be comfortable with. Some people believe in what others recommend. They cannot make up their own mind. They buy makes of cooking grills as has been suggested by their relative and friends.
Those who follow traditional methods still use charcoal grills and are comfortable with them.
Charcoal grills, no doubt are advantageous over different types of cooking grills. Foods cooked in the same tend to be tastier. Only a connoisseur can make out the difference in foods cooked using propane grills and food cooked using charcoal grills. It has been noticed that there are some people who repose more faith in the words of their friends. For more details www.thanks-giving-recipes.com.Also, there are some people who are interested in just showing off. Turning on an electric cooking grill is easy task but it is not the same with charcoal grills. Just watch carefully when a charcoal grill is being prepared and you will be amazed to see the amount of meticulous work that goes into it. Charcoal pellets have to be dumped on the receiver of the grill and lighter fluid has to be poured on it.
Once this part is done, the charcoal pellets have to be set alight by applying fire to it. Compare this with lighting a propane grill and you’ll find the difference. One already has the gas connection ready and attached with the propane-cooking grill. Turn on the main lever to permit the gas to flow. Now turn the knob of the burner to the on position and apply fire to it to set it alight. Modern propane cooking grills integrate the lighter with the knob. Turning the knob to `on’ flashes the gas flowing from the burner, setting it alight. We have mentioned two types of grill above, but there is a third one too.
This grill is powered by electric and is known as an electric grill. Since it runs on electric, there is no question of burners and over here one will find plates instead. These plates are constructed of metal or fiber and a coil is attached to the bottom of the plate. For more details www.300-chicken-recipe.com.When electricity passes through these coils made out of resistance wire, it cannot flow properly because of the resistance offered by the wire and this converts the electric energy to heat energy that heats up the plate. Electric Grills and propane grills come with integrated thermometers. These thermometers are quite handy and allow the user to set the correct temperature required for cooking a particular dish.

shd i be looking at the wattage or something?
Here are some of the issues I considered for a toaster-oven:
I wanted one that has about 1/2 cubic foot capacity, large enough for that small pizza or an entree for two. This size would allow me to toast at least 4 pieces of bread at the same time, toast bagels and English muffins and toast other very thick breads.
To do the things I needed it to do I needed about 1500 watts
I wanted one with a toast color selector with an automatic shut-off allowing me to choose from light to dark for toast.
A heavy non-stick interior would make cleanup quick.
I wanted to view the entire cooking process so there should be an interior light.
The machine I wanted would be designed so that the dual oven racks automatically advance when I opened the door.
The machine must have truly cool-touch sides. It must also have an easily removable crumb tray.
It should have reasonably easy-to-use cooking controls.
Since this machine would sit on my counter, I needed it to be reasonably attractive.
(Hope using these criteria will help you)
It’s safe to plug in, as long as the metal thingies that go into the wall, the plug, and your hands are completely dry. Also, there shouldn’t be any standing water anywhere near it.
Will it work?
Well, you’ll know soon enough.
